Today, Sammy and I read The Philosophical Discourse of Modernity.
Just kidding. Although… that would have been really cool.
This morning, we read Chica Chica Boom Boom. It’s a really fun way to learn the alphabet.
This afternoon, I was surprised with a baby shower for our baby Danny. My wonderful friends and family brought “something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue” as gifts. There were a few new books, and Sammy got to enjoy some of them this evening.
We read It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown – a book with buttons that play voices and music. Sammy enjoyed the story and now he’s now watching A Charlie Brown Christmas (we don’t own the Great Pumpkin movie yet), one of our favorite Christmas movies. We’re training Sammy to answer the question “What do you want for Christmas?” with “Real estate.” He just kept saying, “Lightening McQueen.” It’s okay. We’ll keep at it.
